Beverly organizations receive MCC Cultural Investment Portfolio grants

Grants will be used by organizations to help with operating or capital expenses

BOSTON—(11/19/2024) Senate Assistant Majority Leader Joan B. Lovely (D–Salem) announces that two organizations in Beverly are the recipients of Massachusetts Cultural Council Cultural Investment Portfolio grants.

The Montserrat College of Art Gallery and Express Yourself, Inc. have received grants of $7,700 and $17,200, respectively, to be used for general operations expenses.

“These grants will bolster these organizations’ ability to continue providing the high-quality cultural experiences that enrich the lives of our residents and help build stronger communities,” said Senator Lovely. “Thank you to the Mass Cultural Council for making these grants available to these cornerstones of culture in Beverly and beyond.”

Investments made through the Cultural Investment Portfolio program and the Operating Support for Organizations programs total $7.2 million to cultural organizations throughout Massachusetts. These grant awards are unrestricted and can be used by the cultural organizations to help with any operating or capital expenses.
